LiveGrow Bio Named Finalist in IFA Cultivate Challenge

Recognition underscores the company’s patented platform that makes high performance microbial inputs affordable, shelf stable, and commercially scalable

Richland, WA, July 30, 2025. LiveGrow Bio, a provider of advanced microbial formulation and manufacturing solutions, has been selected as one of 13 global finalists in the IFA Cultivate Challenge, chosen from more than 100 applicants across more than 40 countries. The Challenge, run by the International Fertilizer Association in partnership with SVG Ventures | THRIVE and EIT Food, spotlights startups addressing priority innovation areas across the fertilizer value chain.

“Being named a finalist by IFA validates the commercial importance of what we are building,” said Andrey Pinchuk, CEO of LiveGrow Bio. “Our patented platform lets developers formulate and profitably commercialize any high value microbe, especially Gram negative and other non spore forming strains that conventional manufacturers either cannot handle or can only produce at costs too high for profitable commercialization. This strain freedom, together with up to 95 percent lower cost of goods and multi year room temperature stability at high CFU concentration, helps our customers rapidly move from lab success to profitable products that complement conventional inputs.”

As a finalist, LiveGrow Bio will receive a 12 month IFA membership, access to regional showcase opportunities at leading agritech events, participation in a tailored business development program, and an invitation to the grand final at IFA Cultivating Tomorrow 2026.

LiveGrow Bio’s platform is designed to shorten development timelines and de risk scale up for discovery companies and ag input leaders. By enabling long life, high concentration formulations that fit existing crop protection distribution channels, the company helps partners launch profitable biopesticides and biostimulants faster and at global scale. The platform maintains target viable counts of at least 1 × 10^6 CFU per gram for 24 plus months at room temperature, with most formulations remaining substantially above this threshold in long term stability checks.
